On Sunday, October 17th Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County’s Women Build Committee held a tea and silent auction in Darnestown, Maryland. At this event, the Committee was able to raise over $2,000.00 for next year’s project and renovation.
Olde Key Title would like to thank Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger for donating an item to the silent auction – an estate planning package to work with Caryn Siegel Wetmore, Esq.

At Olde Key Title, we engage in the pre-closing, closing, and post-closing stages of settling on a home. It is very rare for any settlement company to take part in the actual building of a home. On June 5, 2010, that all changed for me. On June 5, 2010, I volunteered in a build day with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Maryland. I, along with other volunteers, was able to help provide a home to a deserving mother and her daughter. My experience with building homes, prior to this day, was less than minimal; however, I can happily say I now know how to properly hold a hammer, put up dry wall, etc. The build day was very rewarding and my outlook on the home building process has forever changed. I was not able to provide my support to Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Maryland without the help of my family, friends, Olde Key Title, and Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger. Here are pictures from the build day. Enjoy!
